1/12/13 - Christian Writings as a Tradition...

Returned today to do maintenance on the memorial... It occurs to me that it is so important for us Christians, whom the saints have left behind, to stand and tell the story of those saints who have left before us, as it relates to Christ, so that others may benefit in the future. After all, the whole New Testament and other related christian works of the time are based on this very idea. Like those men and women of faith who wrote of the times of early Christianity, we must also do the same, to maintain the tradition of biblical writings as a contemporary, living body of work, as opposed to simply words on a page, written by dead authors of an ancient, historical religious text. This is what separates us from the world of unbelievers, and it is to be taken very seriously.
